I believe that people live their best lives by exploring their identities and living out their values. When you live your most authentic life, you can thrive and shine at your greatest potential. I believe that you have the power to unlock your full potential, enhance your health and well-being, create and maintain meaningful relationships, and break performance barriers.
Many people struggle to determine who they are, identify their likes and dislikes, determine their preferences and limits, challenge their negative thought patterns and core beliefs. I believe that finding ourselves and being ourselves can help us live our best lives.
In our sessions, we can navigate life transitions, improve low self-worth and confidence, set and maintain boundaries, discover your gender identity, and explore your romantic and sexual orientations.
As humans, we experience events that range from easy to difficult and short-term to long-term. Before, during, and after these events, we experience a broad range of emotions, including happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, and love.
In our sessions, we identify our emotions, learn how emotions do and do not serve us, and apply a variety of skills to manage and regulate emotions.
We engage in hundreds of behaviors on a daily basis, including, speaking, writing, creating, working, eating, movement, and substance use. However, these behaviors may be unhelpful or harmful to our health. We may engage in avoidance, perfectionism, procrastination, overworking, people-pleasing, aggression, isolation, disordered eating or exercise, or substance misuse. I can help you change any behaviors that are unwanted or undesirable.
In our sessions, we explore reasons that we engage in various behaviors that do not serve us, find reasons to change our current behaviors, and apply strategies to make sustainable changes that improve our health and well-being.
Trauma can be caused by people or the environment. Have you struggled with experiencing burnout, been involved in harmful personal or professional relationship, witnessed interpersonal violence, or encountered a natural disaster? I can help you heal, overcome, and thrive.
In our sessions, we can talk through the harm and trauma, validate painful experiences, and process process difficult and distressing emotions.
